| 1307196 | 2012-10-17 20:10:00 | Makes sense Wainui. trouble is convincing 130 workers (engineers to boot!). I battle with this with every os since Vista superseded (?) XP.Know what you mean :) some dont like change. Theres plenty of people I know who panic when their shortcut to a program is moved on the desktop--- " WHERE is it, it used to be top right second down, now its at the bottom " The thing wont work now. ;) A couple of places I do work for, -- fun and games changing from XP - W7 took them about a week to get used to it, now its great ;) |

I can remember a few years back getting a brand new computer with a brand new Windows 3.1 operating system on it. Boy was this innovative. My previous machine run on DOS and I used to love writing batch programmes so that I had something similar to a start menu. I appears that third party Start Menu programmes are available for Windows 8. I have tried th beta version of Stardock's Start8. I liked it. The beta version is free but once Windows 8 is released it will cost $4.99. read here www.pcadvisor.co.uk |

Or, as a bonus, some were front wheel steer and others rear wheel steer. Im afraid I belong to the If it aint broke dont fix it thinkers and if someone wants to use my workshop, I expect all the tools to be returned to where they were found. Im afraid change, for the sake of change, doesnt impress me. :) |

Besides it giving me an inaccessible device error earlier, at least it installed everything for me, inc the wifi adapter. And activated it. But, I don't think I'll keep it ether, if it decides to crash for no reason at all |
