1333207 2013-03-19 05:04:00 You should definitely try to keep it as cool as possible. The cooler you keep it the longer it will live.
Just because they say it can handle 99 degrees doesn't mean you should actually let it get that hot. 83 is not far off.

Since you said it was pretty dusty, then that's your problem. Just clean it out. Simple.

1333208 2013-03-19 08:21:00 plus, if you buy cans of compressed air, just like WD40 but air instead of oil, THEY'RE SO MUCH FUN. skeptile2 (16539)
1333209 2013-03-19 08:45:00 A rule of thumb is every 10c cuts the life of the GPU by half, so keeping it a cool as you can is defiantly a good idea. Slankydudl (16687)

Could be fun to spray it with WD40 too. Should be much faster afterwards.

1333211 2013-03-19 21:49:00 Cans of air are overpriced in my opinion. I bought a cheapo vacuum cleaner from bunnings for $60 that came with a wall mount bracket and an extra long hose with various nozzles and a blower option. It's not that great of a vacuum but it really shifts the dust on blow. dugimodo (138)

Faster when you throw it out of the window after it goes up in smoke.
