130737 2003-03-25 05:55:00 Are there any BBS'es around nowdays?

Almost pre internet and certainly pre WWW.

Had such fun. Used a progie called BlueWave, still got it on a 5.25 somewhere - damn, those days are probably gone now.

Ah, I think I can remember a game called L.O.R.D.. I think that's what it was called.. Cant remember to much about it, except that I married some random chic from a Bar/Nightclub if I remember the game rightly... ;-)

I had a friend who set one up, with freeware software to create it.

Does anybody know of any should I choose to look into the idea of playing around with BBS software (Just for fun :-))

I have PuTTY already (Used it to do remote server administration.... ;-))
and I married Violet, only she divorced me after about 5 days :(

And that sent my Charisma or whatever back down to 0 from a hundred :p

Welcome to PressF1

Is your BBS connected to FidoNet and Echos rather than threads?
