| 130635 | 2003-03-25 00:49:00 | Im looking for a Local (NZ) download mirror for OpenOffice, Ive got some PC's that need an office suite, and the budget is approx: $0 So, I remembered Open Office, but Im wanting a little info on it first: How big is the download? I think I can remember it being a few hundred megs. Where can I locally download it so that I dont run up huge JetStream costs? Im going to wanna download the Linux (RedHat 8, but its same for all!) and Doze versions, so that's all the more reason for a Local mirror, it'll hopefully be a little faster.. but if its 20c per meg, after the monthly allowance (they're likely to go over with this) then working out at 20c per meg, 2x Approx 300 meg downloads (Assuming its that large) then that works out at about: $60 per download x2 = $120, and on a budget of $0, that's not really viable :( So, Im wanting info on it.. It comes with a Word/Excel equivalent, but Im sure its missing something that MS Office has.. Cant remember which though. Thanks guys Chilling_Silence |
