| 130797 | 2003-03-25 09:24:00 | Hiya, I'm considering on purchasing a digital camera within the near future.... What I am hoping for, is some advice in to what I should pay attention to when in buying a digital camera. I am preparing myself when I walk into a shop and knowing or having a better foundation of what I should look into, rather a sales person buying something out of my range. Heres some questions I am curious to know? *Should I look at the 'Pixel Resolution', such as 1280 x 1024? In saying this, would this mean that my pictures taken after that shot will be at the maximum stated size: 1280 x 1024? *Should I look at the Memory? If so, whats more important, Internal or external? *Should I look at the number of pictures I can take in total? I'm not too fussed at brands, but hoping in search of a good bargain. I don't want to put too many holes in my pocket yet, so that I have an idea in what to expect within the future and then be more choosey of what requirements I yet to expect....... My $$ spree, within this range, I hope is $180 - $240. Is this price range for a good digital camera realistic, or am I still living in 'dream land'? Hope this makes all sense Thanks |

If you are going to print, then I think that you need at least a 2Megapixel camera which will set you back about $600-$700 approximately. | JohnD (509) | ||
