| 131321 | 2003-03-27 00:44:00 | hi, i have a toshiba laptop, satellite 2210cdt, upon which the physical USB1 plug has become use ( the divider in the plug broke allowing pin damage) and as the USB female is attached directly to the mother board it is a costly fix!! listening to a conversation about USB2 external hard drives recently i got the impression it was possible to "up grade" a USB1 laptop via and external card that connected through the PC card slot - could this be a "cheaper fix" for my usb problem?? cheers will right |
