130991 2003-03-26 05:20:00 Have a P11 300 on an MSI 6113 M/B. Am unable to get past the bios screen. (The one that lists all hardware details) Recognisies all drives but won't go any further. No error messages come up. Can't get it to boot from floppy either, even though set in bios as 1st boot device.
Cheers

130993 2003-03-26 08:04:00 Reset everything to default values and see if it will start. Has anyone been playing with the BIOS?

You can do serious harm if you play with the ram timing and you may have to reset the bios by removing the battery.

130994 2003-03-26 08:26:00 Have had drive failure cause this before. Disconnect all drives and see if it boots off floppy first, then reconnect each drive in turn. In my case it was the CD ROM. By disconnect, I mean just the big flat IDE cable, noting which drive and it's orientation. Pheonix (280)
