131280 2003-03-27 10:28:00 A surge protector isn't going to save you from a lightning strike travelling down the wire into the network card and blowing it up.
I should know i had it happen to me! and my cables were about 10cm under ground!
obviously not enough to avoid a lightning strike! thats ok though cause the network cards were cheap.

You might like to apply "Gamma Correction" to your photo's

Mac's need 1.8 while IBM are 2.2,
2.0 might do the trick

Doesn't that building have service ducts?
It looks modern enough to have power, phones, water sewerage and whatnot...

I can understand why you have to run things under doors on the same floor, but not why you have to go up the outside of the building!
