| 131180 | 2003-03-26 11:01:00 | Running win95 when starting the computer it goes thru memory test ok, detects hdd, verifies dmi data, say's starting windows 95, then the message: the following file is missing or corrupt : C:\windows\Himem.sys followed by cannot find win.com unable to continue to load windows, then shows C:\ what do i need to do to fix this please?? | Taggas (3455) | ||

| 131183 | 2003-03-27 02:29:00 | And run a virus checker. Even MSAV (which I think is in one of the directories of the W95 CDs) will do. I often get the old boot sector viruses because I have a lot[ of old floppies. :D Missing .COM files is one of the symptoms. | Graham L (2) | ||
