131030 2003-03-26 08:45:00 Kazaa is the best I think...

You should be able to download it here (http://www.kazaalite.com), though last I checked the site was temporarily being moved. This is the ad-free version apparently (I don't use it). Better than ads popping up occaisonally and spyware (I think).

Try here doa2.host.sk Lite[/url]. This is definitely the best version of Kazaa to go for.

131032 2003-03-26 09:38:00 for a simple p2p application, i agree that kazaalite is the way to go, others have clumsy connectivity and interfaces.

If you want something more advanced or want to use just national traffic, direct connect is the one to get, you'll want to get a decent client like DC++ (dcplusplus.sourceforge.net)

131035 2003-03-27 05:47:00 The unambiguous best for audio mp3 at least is WinMX.

Try http://www.winmx.com

131036 2003-03-27 05:53:00 I have used Soulseek for MP3's and I think it's not bad, excpet when you're in a que that's from here to Tokyo.

I also think that a lot of MP3's can be found with Kazaa Lite, it quite surprised me.
