131438 2003-03-27 14:58:00 Hi all!
Is it at all possible to make a PPS (or PPT) some form of EXE. so that I can send a presentation to my parents who don't have PowerPoint on their computer?

Alternatively, one could ask is it possible to play a PPS or PPT on a machine with out PowerPoint on?? Or what would they need to do it???

Regards,

?:| of Whangarei.

131441 2003-03-28 12:56:00 So this "Pack and Go" (and I think I've seen it......yep know where it is now :D ) contains the 'viewer' so that even some one who does not have PowerPoint or does not want to (know how to) download it can at least view it?

Thank you for answering. I followed your networking thread, as I myself was trying out ICS. But being stubborn, I wanted my 98 SE machine to do the Internet connection (as it was all set up) then my XP to access the internet via that. Yes I know, I've been told many fold that's the wrong way round........opps off thread there, sorry! :8}

My 'Old Dear' tho', had to be dragged kicking and screaming in to the 19th Century, let alone the 20th!! So even if I sent her the viewer, it may well be a couple of months before I've explained over the phone what to do!! :D (Bless their cotton socks, a?? :x ).
I feel this 'Pack and Go' sounds like a good thing (although I'm downloading the viewer in the background out of interest! :).

Er, that's all! :D

Regards,
Me

PS FYI It seems the viewer is all right with PowerPoint 95, 97, 2000, and 2002 presentations, from what they say! No differing versions of viewer for differing versions of PowerPoint. But I'm not entirely sure I trust them fully at Red Mound(of money)!!!! ;)
