| 132012 | 2003-03-30 02:27:00 | Kiwibeat, what I've done is save the web page with all the lists on it. (Which is updated now and then). Then I can search through the Start/run/msconfig/startup list and unselect anything there that I consider doesn't need to start up with Windows (ME). At the moment I have 10 unticked! And the PC does start up quicker. Only thing is a box comes up with "you are starting in selective startup mode",well something like that.I've just ticked the box to say not to show that any more. Hope this helps a little! :D |
