131998 2003-03-29 19:59:00 Something very odd with Clear?
I was on Internet with Clear at midnight between Friday and Saturday
downloading something when I got disconnected while the small hand was on the 12 and the big hand was near 1 or 2 or even near the 12 for that matter, Sorry I can be more exact as I was working from my digital clock, Trying to get back on Internet to finish the download gave a "629" error, so after a while ...... & more of a while ... I emptied out everything in the "Control panel => Network" box to start again with the set up, then the computer told me to do a re-boot, so I did, on reboot or should I say part of the reboot, the DOS type instructions told me a file was missing, and to press "any key" well I could not find "any key" so I pressed any other key, the computer then shut down, I could not be bothered fixing it up, so I reinstalled window on the other partition, and quickly had it set up so I could go back onto Internet, only to get the error 628 again, so then I thought why not try it with my older computer (am I slow, or what) Well I got the 629 error with that as well, so I rang up clear again, the joker on the help desk got me to check a few things, then asked me to delete and reinstall something in "Control panel => Network" box, then I gave it another go and it worked, So then I went back to my newer computer and said to myself "that's funny this "Control panel => Network" box looks just like my older computer" fortunately I never got a answer back from myself, To which all the trouble I had been having up to now trying to get back on Internet made me very happy, without doing anything to the newer computer tried to connect to
Internet again and it went on to Internet without any trouble and no 629
error either, which made me more happier, How did the clear net help desk fix both computers at once? is that odd or what?

132000 2003-03-29 23:32:00 Clear probably fixed one, and the small and big hands in the digital clock fixed the other one. Baldy (26)
132001 2003-03-29 23:35:00 Maybe the big hands were OK but the tiny hands were frozen ...... TonyF (246)
132002 2003-03-30 00:51:00 Sorry my mistake, the big hand never got near the big one, and defiantly not to the two, I just remembered when the big hand is on the one it means it is five minutes past the hour, maybe I should get a clock with hands and then ..... E.ric (351)
