We are using an NT network with mostly Win98 workstations accessing the internet through MS Proxy server 2. However, some of the staff now have new laptops with Win XP pro and I have been unable to get them access to the internet. They can open their Outlook mail boxes based on exhange 5.5 on the same server but the proxy server keeps requesting a new authentication and no web pages are returned. They are logging on to their original workgroups in the network domain successfully as far as I can see as the usual network resources are available.
Frustration is setting in as I cannot find a simple solution anywhere. Help please. |
