| 132218 | 2003-03-30 08:35:00 | I have XP Home and use IE.and Outlook Express I cannot complete the downloading of emails as the program freezes and comes up with "A timeout occurred while communicating with server. Local host Protocol POP3 Port 110 secure (SSL) No error number OX800ccc19. I have increased the time out switch to the maximum 5 mins. I can download all emails when I use Windows 98 and Outlook Express. I have tried IHUG and they are as much use as "tits on a bull" What am I doing wrong? Are there othe switches I have missed?. Any help would be appreciated and I have gone back in time with XP but this still does not help HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| 132222 | 2003-04-08 08:17:00 | Thanks guys for the info. Unfortunately none of the 3 suggestions worked. I have since locatedan Ihug internet connection CD at Dick Smiths. It is a freebie and on part of this is the reinstallation and/or repair of the program. Using this and with a bit of playing around I am now able to download ALL email without problems. Thanks anyway for the helpi |
