| 132058 | 2003-03-30 00:21:00 | I have just downloaded a variety of "essential" upgrades from MS for XP Pro. When I restarted, all my internet connections were deleted, and the only option available though New Connection Wizard is for a Broadband DSL/Cable link. I have "uninstalled" my modem though Control Panel, but it still reinstalls as a Broadbank connection. Would that it were! I'm having to revert to an old Win95 166Mhz machine to talk to the world! Any suggestions? TFYH Graham Bockett |

Then power off, pysically reintall your modem, wnd wait for XP to recognise that it has new hardware, hopefully that way you will be able to convince it that you have not got broadband. Alternatively, get broadband!! |
