| 132305 | 2003-03-31 04:26:00 | Another option would be to try looking in the msconfig and see what is loading in the background as it might be there. Start > Run > type in msconfig > Enter > remove the ticks from anything you don't need starting at bootup (be careful in what you untick, in this case you are looking for anything that has or could be related to Sara Reder), click OK/Apply > Restart the computer. Another thing to look at is Start > Programs > StartUp and see if it is loading from there as well, if so, delete the link from there. Do a search of your computer . Start > Search > Files > Sara Reder > see what comes back. If you get some results, rename the file as a backup and see if that kills your problem. Last, you have a firewall ? If not, maybe try ZoneAlarm, it comes as a free version and you can deny permission for the offending item to access the internet. |
