| 132971 | 2003-04-02 12:10:00 | Help please, Is there any reason why a Power Scheme gets loaded twice ? The key "Rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, LoadCurrentPowerScheme" is in the RUN and RUN SERVICES folder located in Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr ent Version. The RUN folders also has the keys 'Scan Reg ' and 'Sys Tray' The RUN SERVICES folder also has the key ' Hidserv" Can I delete one of these PowerScheme keys ?? LoadPowerProfile starts as a machine service so that the default power management settings are available when Windows 98 starts. | 132973 | 2003-04-02 21:03:00 | I disabled one 98 seems to still work ok but the sleep button function doesnt work too well wont wake up again but i tend to only us e the monitor off function anyways so no real problem as far as i am concerned |
