| 132785 | 2003-04-02 02:39:00 | Every time I install a game off the PC WORLD PLUS CD-ROM, and go to start the game I get: ERROR STARTING PROGRAM ________________________ (!) A required .DLL file, D3D8.DLL, was not found. And it wont work!! this happens on most of the games I install off this CD and last months CD as well. What the hell is going on? |

| 132786 | 2003-04-02 02:46:00 | D3D8.DLL is part of the Microsoft DirectX video driver. Go to Start > Run and type "dxdiag". You should be able to view your DirectX version. It should be version 9.0a to be up to date. You can download it from Microsoft.com (www.microsoft.com) |

| 132787 | 2003-04-02 02:47:00 | you need to install directX. i think dx8.1 is proberly on the disk. some of the games need dx8 or higher. what OS and video card do you have? |
