| 133284 | 2003-04-04 04:52:00 | More problems. Win 2000 Prof; Atapi CD-R/RW. 2 years old? Yesterday it worked perfectly. I did a disk clean etc. this am. Then inserted PC World CD ROM and light blinked a few times and then nothing but a message to insert a CDROM. TTried audio CDROM, nothing. Tried all troubleshooting, re-installed driver, everything comprehensible checks out. Loose connection? Or what? Dot |

I have never needed to do one since the days when CD Drives were available. The "brush type" cleaning CD is pretty severe on the laser guides and support mechanism. But perhaps you just did a "cleanup" of files on the Hard drive? More specific info would help |
