| 133217 | 2003-04-03 23:14:00 | Under Tools menu I have Mail Merge appearing about 20 times (on the dropdown list)...how can I get rid of those entries. I had a look in customize but to no avail. Thanks for your help....Marc |

| 133218 | 2003-04-03 23:26:00 | marcfibbens, It could be caused by a corrupted NORMAL.DOT (your preferences and format template). You can search for this file using Windows Explorer and rename it (them if more than one) to some other filename. Then restart Word (it will create a new 'empty' Normal.Dot). Note you will lose any of your own personal customisations that you had added to the Normal.dot. You didn't mention O/S, Office or system versions so this is a guess. Cheers, Babe. |

| 133220 | 2003-04-04 05:52:00 | Word 2000 was buggy, have you applied the service packs? There is SP1 and SP2. They are quite essential and may fix your problem. |
