| 133185 | 2003-04-03 11:32:00 | Winamp 2.90 eh? This has got to be one of the more 'Mature' pieces of software I know of! WinAmp 5 is looking to be good, dunno why they're skipping the 4 (Apparently it was a very un-publicised beta.. but they skipped right to 5 coz the program went wrong etc.. or that's what the grapevine told me). Why though when I go to the site do I get the WinAmp 2.81 download which I had ages ago? If 2.90 is out??? *feels lost.. outa the loop.. tired...* Well... It certainly looks... Similar... Same 2.81 spash-screen Skin looks nicer though! Plays video very nicely, very sharp - And smooth... Very good! |

| 133186 | 2003-04-03 22:45:00 | adding to that............ Opera 7.10 Beta 1 for Windows, Preview 3 for Linux available (3 April 2003 until 4 May 2003 ) Opera 7.10 has been released for public testing. This is the first Linux release synchronized with a Windows release of the same version. The Windows version has beta status, while the Linux version is the third preview of Opera 7 for Linux. For Windows users, we do not recommend that you install it over a current version of Opera, but that you install it in a new folder instead. Linux users may wish to take a backup of the ".opera" settings directory, located in their home directory before installing the preview. Please discuss beta issues in the beta forum, or in the Windows and Linux forums, before reporting them through our Bug Tracking System. (http://bugs.opera.com/) The Windows version can be downloaded from: ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/win/7...32enen710b1.exe (ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/win/710/beta1/en/std/ow32enen710b1.exe) The Linux version can be found here: snapshot.opera.com (snapshot.opera.com) For changelogs, please visit the opera.beta (news://news.opera.com/opera.beta) newsgroup. This newsgroup is also the preferred place to discuss the beta, but this forum can also be used. Google Groups URLs to the announcements in the newsgroups will be posted when available.
