133471 2003-04-04 23:00:00 On switching on my computer I get a window that is annoying to say the least. I used to have Quicken on my computer and I dumped it quite a while ago and I think that this is a result of that action.
Anyway the window is named BILLMNDW.EXE and the message reads 'Cannot find the file BILLMNDW.EXE (or one of its components). Make sure the path and the filename are correct and that all required libraries are available'. I just press the OK and another window pops up named DESKTOP. It saids 'Could not load or run BILLMNDW.EXE specified in the WIN.INI file. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the WIN.INI file'. Once again I just hit OK and the rest of the boot up continues. It is just annoying and I would like to get rid of it.
Yeah right and simple enough for someone who knows what they are doing!
Please send me the way to cure this someone.....

133475 2003-04-06 02:04:00 Go Run - Msconfig & look in your start up files - also look in win.ini and see if there is any reference to it - if so, disable.
Bye
