| 133448 | 2003-04-04 13:01:00 | i'm making an ASP noticeboard/forum and i want to store there IP address & time when ever they make a post/reply i know how to store the time but how do you find the IP address? |

It has to be by order of a court injunction. If you get the person to register, then you can ban them from posting if they post something dodgy. However, its pretty easy to get a new email address and use a false name etc and start posting again. What I am trying to say is, you are wasting your time |

Posting IP's = Big no-no Logging them = Yes, most message boards I know do it (Even this one I believe) But in all.. they just have to disconnect if you block that IP... and the next person who connects to the ISP cant visit your boards :( |
