Or run chkdsk /f (chkdsk c: /f for Hard Drive, C etc). Interesting, Defrag appears to work, but only shows: Windows Disk Defragmenter Copyright (c) 2001 Microsoft Corp. and Executive Software International, Inc. Hard drive intermittently flashes which is the only indication that it is working but have no idea on the percentage compete (other details not quite so important) |
