1334175 2013-03-26 09:22:00 Are you sure you got the File extension correct ?? A file MDT file extension is a Microsoft Access Add-in Data file.

Its not a movie file.

If you want a good Free video convertor, then try Video to Video (http://www.videotovideo.org/) - Been converting some short clips from one format to another, works nice. :)

1334176 2013-03-26 10:15:00 Yes MDT , access, no one seems to no how this could happen, my first SD card converted good as gold. Even the camera wont bring up anything on the screen because of the change of file type ! reolar (17043)
1334177 2013-03-26 18:46:00 Thats really weird, is the original still there, or is it the original that got changed.

Its a long shot, but you can try renaming the file extension back to .MOV, on the odd occasion it will work other times it wont.

1334178 2013-03-26 20:36:00 I used to get a file something like MDT (it started with a M) accompanying video files, with various software. Contains XML (text) info about the video file creation process. I found I could ignore it

One could open the MDT file in Notepad to see if it is a text file. Then look for where the MOV file is stored
