| 1333711 | 2013-03-25 00:15:00 | IMO Magento is the best opensource eCommerce platform as it has an enormous amount of features plus a large 3rd party extension store. It's quite expensive to develop though as it has a steep learning curve for developers and it's time consuming to configure even for experienced Magento developers. But it's your best bet if you wanting a serious ecommerce platform that can handle a large number of products and orders. If your website is just going to sell a small range of products in a not so competitive environment, or your starting capital is limited, then perhaps you should look at a SAAS / cloud solution like BigCommerce. I personally wouldn't recommend Shopify as I don't feel it has enough features. 1stDomains for domain registration. Cheers! |
