1333635 2013-03-21 22:50:00 Anyone know how these two work together.
Brought a new desktop to replace the old one. (another story). Also brought Office 365 to replace Office 2007.
SWMBO hates Outlook 2013 and just wants Outlook to be simple without Skydrive and it's syncing which seems to be more trouble than it is worth.
Can you remove or disable the skydrive linking. Search the net but the more I searched the more confused I became,
Any ideas or suggestions welcome.

Additional problem. Has "linking issues". Cleared about 600 two days ago. Looked today and found about 300. Looked at one of the logs and found "Syncing server changes in folder xyz". It prints the same message for each folder.

My version doesn't include Outlook.
Were using live mail before and may yet go back to it if I can get it to load.
Tried to install Live essentials. Click on file and message pops up saying restart to install. Restart then click file and it comes back with the same message ???????

1333639 2013-03-22 01:09:00 Can you please clear up what version of Office you are actually using.

Office 2013 OR Office 365 ?? Both come with Skydrive, but they are different slightly.

Office 365 is subscription based where as Office 2013 is standalone, ( one payment when purchased).

If you have 365 then try office.microsoft.com

1333640 2013-03-22 01:14:00 You'll have to use Skype if you want to use Windows live messenger. MS are killing Windows live messenger mid April / 8th April Speedy Gonzales (78)

Thanks Wainui.
It is 365.
Checked that link. I have plain Skydrive so don't think it applies.

1333643 2013-03-22 01:36:00 Just curious , whats Skype got to do with Skydrive Syncing ?

For SKYDRIVE which is what the thread is about --- Try this -- In the Notification Tray will be the Skydrive Icon ( may be hidden so click on the arrow to show it) looks like two clouds, right click it
click Settings

From the Choose Folders Tab, Click Choose Folders The Choose folders to sync, untick the ones you dont want.

OR on the Settings tab are a few options to disable it completely ;)
