| 1307799 | 2012-10-20 07:12:00 | Hi Guys, Our street at fibre run through a few months back(live in Blenheim) and chorus has announced that the fibre can be run to the jack point free of charge. from what I can see only Snap and Orcon are offering plans currently. I can get 60gig, phone etc for $110 and no doubt similar for Orcon. both have brutal break contract clauses. The thing that worries me is that i hook into a new isp and then in 6 months time voda or telecom or some other ISP start there own fibre plans up and i get stuck being an early starter, possibly getting crap data caps and paing to much! Interested in your thoughts, does anyone know when other ISP's are announcing plans for fibre? should I just suck it up and do it? I am sure it will help my BF3 ranking! thanks in advance Mike |

First prices from a local ISP are fairly horrendous but this is commercial not residential. Also speeds are only guaranteed to 2Mb even tho i may be paying for 100/100 | Gobe1 (6290) | ||
