1308228 2012-10-26 21:39:00 Why are you wasting money like this ??

- Skype each other FREE !!

We do not consider that spending time and effort to contact our son by phone on his birthday to be a waste of money.

As I previously mentioned, he has just arrived there, has no landline phone access and he has tried to get wifi access to skype but that is not yet available either. I didn't think it necessary to bother everybody with the details, it is best to focus on the facts. Had we had skype access I would not have been trying to phone him.

An old adages states 'assuming can make an ass out of u & me', in this instance, just YOU !!

Cheers

1308229 2012-10-26 22:55:00 The press release I found through googling said that the Du network was about to open up another 1000,000 numbers in the 0529 range. If your son has an 0528 number that's an even later development. If Telecom check dialled numbers to see if the range is valid before passing them on to the other carrier it will depend on them having the 0528 range listed. That's why trying a friend's Vodafone or TelstraClear phone would be worth a shot. The worst that could happen is the phone will ring and wake him up :D PaulD (232)
