| 1333663 | 2013-03-21 23:30:00 | Got a laptop here, for no apparent reason the environmental variables don't seem to be working at all (can't run ipconfig unless the pate is manually specified etc). Can't see anything wrong with the path, it's posted below for anyone to double check. Any ideas? Thanks. :) PATH=C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Windows Live;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoo t%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowe rShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Shared;C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem\;C:\Program Files\Toshiba\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\sys\ |

| 1333665 | 2013-03-21 23:54:00 | CMD opens ok - I just changed the %systemroot%/system32 variable to c:\windows\system32 and it started working - changed it back to the original %systemroot%\system32 and it's still working, so that's a bit weird. I've tested by opening a few .exe files in various other folders in the path and they all seem fine, it's like editing the path somehow kicked the whole thing into gear again. |
