134229 2003-04-08 00:17:00 I'm using win2000 pro on a small network. Every time I re-boot, my C drive gets shared. I don't want this. So every re-boot I have to unshare the drive manually. Any Idea how i can stop this occurring on every reboot ? Cheers davidesharpe (3555)
134230 2003-04-08 00:23:00 If you're talking about the default C$ share, thats not the only one.

Login as an Administrator and you should just be able to remove it...

Also, hit F1 and search for Sharing or share etc. and it'll tell you in the Windows Help what other hidden shares there are, like Admin$

134232 2003-04-08 04:34:00 Does it also remove the Admin$, the IPC$, Print$, Netlogon, and Fax$ invisible shares? Chilling_Silence (9)
