134238 2003-04-07 23:33:00 Hi

I downloaded the above driver from Creative download site but after unzipping the file, I found that there isn't any executable files. All the files end with a **_ extension, for example: nvsvcr32.ex_.

How do I install this driver?

Cheers

I can't tell you the specific prompts you will receive due to not knowing the OS you are running.

The machine is running Win2K.

I have tried to update the driver but error occurred saying that it can't find a number of files and I checked and found that all those file names are there but their extensions are ended with .**_.

If the card you are using does not have any special features (eg video capture etc) then I would suggest you use the generic Nvidia reference drivers instead, which are available from:

It's a Creative Labs card; can I use the Nvidia driver?

134243 2003-04-08 06:20:00 It's missing a file. Normally those files are like that because they are packed and require an "instruction type file". I have a Leadtek GF2 GTS video card and use Nvidia drivers exclusively, with no problems. Pheonix (280)
