| 134483 | 2003-04-09 04:04:00 | Any more ideas on my trying to install mandrake 9.0. The cd boots but the screen goes blank after the welcome screen. i've tried text install instead of graphical but the same lock-up happens. Am I holding by tongue wrong... doesn't matter much, just wanted to have a fiddle because of all the linux rave. Definitely not as easy as windows XP setup - that seems to install and run out of the box with any modern computer with a hard-drive. |
