| 134387 | 2003-04-08 10:02:00 | Why is it that XP pro will not recognise SET STATION=1 in the config.nt file to allow a dos based program running over a w2000server network. It recognises FILES=254 in the same config.nt file. To prevent getting a warning message when starting the program telling me there is an incorrect dos network setting etc etc I had to create a new variable in controlpanel.system.advanced.environmentvariables called STATION and assign a value of 1. I take it XP pro does not overly like DOS based programs cheers lkelly |
