134882 2003-04-10 10:27:00 My PC-illiterate husband uses a dairy industry database to update info on our dairy herd. In order for the whole page to be on the screen at once, I have to change the screen size to 1024 x 768 and then change it back again to 800 x 600 when he is finished. Is there any way I can get the shortcut to starting the database to include the screen size change automatically on opening and closing? Alison (2911)

Either purchase a larger monitor or change to NT, 2000 or XP and use the user configuration to set monitor resolution.

134884 2003-04-11 00:16:00 I have heard of a program that may do what you wish. It is called "MultiRes" and a search in Google brings it up as available from PCWorld.com.

"... MultiRes v1.36 This utility lets you change your display via an icon
in your system tray. You can switch color depths and resolutions ... "

134885 2003-04-11 00:17:00 Sorry, I should have said the program may help you change resolutions quickly with a shortcut, not change them automatically for you. Better than nothing. tommy (2826)
134886 2003-04-11 06:39:00 Yes this is possible . I use a small program at work (I am home at the moment) that does this very thing . Unfortunatly I don't remember the name of the app at this time .

However for now try "Easy resolution Changer" available from:
. freedownloadscenter . com/Utilities/Misc__Utilities/Easy_Resolution_Changer . html" target="_blank">www . freedownloadscenter . com

If this doesn't work repost and I will get the program name from work on Monday .
