| 134878 | 2003-04-10 10:16:00 | Hi, I just bought a new laptop. Whenever I run it over the battery a screen comes up before Windows Loads saying there is a checksum error for an invalid time. Even when I change it to the correct time and save those details to the CMOS, the next time i start it up it does the exact same thing and the time reverts to the 1/1/1988. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Ash |
