| 134716 | 2003-04-10 05:36:00 | Of course, XP isn't DOS. :D I see it appears correctly in this system. (Of course the pipe came from Unix.) dir | more was/is a common use ... I hated the lack of a page mode for directories. I was spoiled by the dir /p I could do in OS/8, RT11, Vax/VMS. :D I also hate the default overwrite and lack of proper line editing in DOS. I always use a TSR called dosed at boot time. |
