goto http://www.housecall.antivirus.com and use their free online virus scan to make sure you're all clear there

Try running a Trace on the addresses you're connecting to, to see where the data is actually going:
Click Start
-Run
type cmd (or command, depending on your OS)
type tracert 210.48.100.45

That will trace your connection to PressF1, try replacing 210.48.100.45 with the website or PC you're connecting to, so something like:
tracert google.co.nz

Also, you said you've got 30 PC's, are you using a Switch or a Hub?

Check that the Gateway PC conects at a high-speed.
Try downloading DAP from speedbit.com and see what speeds you can get on a few random downloads... then try that from a client PC on your network :-)
