| 134851 | 2003-04-10 08:49:00 | Hi Team It's not my day really. X-( I was configuring Outlook for the first time on No 1 son's computer and thought I'd take a look at the Intranet set up options. Very early in the piece I selected exchange server so I could see what options were hidden there but saw nothing relevant and backed (cancelled) out again. This was a mistake! Now Outlook opens straight to the setup/configuration window, giving error messages as I back out telling me it can't find the server. This is quite surprising as I was only exploring the very preliminary configuration options and hadn't actually selected anything. Normally you expect to be able to restart the configuration process and select other options, but Outlook appears to be locked part way into the config process and won't open to a starting screen. I can restore from an image to get back to go, but before I do, is there anything I am overlooking? Cheers Billy 8-{) :( |
