135193 2003-04-12 05:35:00 For those Xtra customers that are fed up with this ISP's arrogance in their terms of service, here's another good reason to leave... Xtra's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee - if you decide to cancel your account, you can claim up to $100.00 worth of your current billing cycle's money back.

I think that clause is applicable only to some of their price plans, so please check first if you decide to cancel with them.

Spoken like a person with a lot of time on their hands. I suggest you find a therapist, due to your continued propensity for making inane comments.

Okay, now in reply to your first thread in regards to Xtra and their Policies (I didn't post this in the other one as I didn't feel the need to open an old thread), anyway, read This (www.nzherald.co.nz)

Secondly, The 100% money back guarantee is only if you are dissatisfied with the Internet Services offered by Xtra (some more light reading available: here (www.xtra.co.nz)), therefore wouldn't that translate to "If you cannot dialup to the Xtra Network and it's really brassing you off then let us know, so we can credit your telecom account up to $100 and then you can bugger off to another ISP", and not just "ah.. I'm a bit strapped for cash this month, maybe if I change ISP I can get Xtra to credit me up to $100???"

Just a question (and please don't take this personally or anything) but do you have some sort of personal vendetta against Xtra or something? Also, after the first escapade involving Xtra's Terms of Use, did you change ISP from Xtra or are they still your ISP??

I might have a lot of time on my hands Greg, but unlike you, I haven't got my hand on my member.

And for those who go on about flameing, yes, that WAS a flame!

135198 2003-04-12 11:40:00 Well, I don't like Telecom... they have a monopoly on the telephone lines. Doesn't really mean I hate their guts though (I'm not aiming this at you, Greg S).

And I think that last comment was a bit too much, Baldy. We wouldn't want this to turn into a massive flame, now, would we.

Here's a suggestion, Bald One - keep your personal opinions off a public forum, and either grow up, or contact me directly... my address is easily found on the Internet; why not visit me and we can 'talk' about your inadequacies face to face.
