| 135144 | 2003-04-11 23:31:00 | So, NVIDIA thinks it can cut out ATI by forming an alliance with EA. In case you didn't know about this, here (www.pcauthority.com.au) is the article on PC Authority. It's appalling that EA has decided to implement certain features in their games which you can only use with an NVIDIA card. Absolutely disgusting, and although it also says that ATI has been rumoured to be trying this, the least I can say is that they haven't done so yet. So, who do you think is the kind of graphics cards now? Do you still trust your NVIDIA card, or do you think that this alliance is simply because NVIDIA knows they're behind ATI? |

What with Palladian, EULA's with sneaky or downright blatent clauses, disks partitioned off for use by manufacturers (not the user), "Trusted Computing", etc, etc. It seems that our rights and choice as consumers are being whittled away from all sides. Complacencey and apathy are our own worst enemies. Complain and protest long and loud. Cheers (I think) Murray P |
