I have Samsung DVD-ROM SD-608 installed in my Packard Bell. Running windows 98se. A while back I could play DVD's with no problems. I have not used the DVD player for quite a long time, and have just tried to play a DVD on it. When I try to play a DVD on it now, I get a message that the DVD drive is not ready or DVD drive empty. I done a diagnostics test with PC-Doctor, and it came up with the message that the test could not be run. Details said no disk in player, although there was a DVD in the drive, with the correct region number. The player that is installed is Soft DVD3 Direct Show. Anyone with any ideas on the problem? |
