I downloaded Trillian - but it looks complicated! how do you switch between MSN, Yahoo, ICQ etc, I have enabled for all to work in Trillian, but when that window is open, only MSN contacts show.

See the 5 different buttons at the bottom of the main prog?
There is one for each messanger service (ie. AIM(i forgot about this one), ICQ, IRC, MSN and Yahoo). Right click the appopriate one and you will see all the options for each service. If you haven't ever logged in, in any one of these you will get only 1 option : connection manager. This is where you set up all the info about your connection (eg. username and password). Next time you start trillian it should connect to all services and all your contacts should show in the main prog (under diff groups). If not then you can set them to connect at start up (I can't remember how). If you can't find out how then you can just right click the trillian icon in the system tray and click connection > global re-connect.

Well....

www.geocities.com

Go there, its a 0.4 MB Download so its nice and fast.. Youve gotta have a server to connect to (If you wanna you could post your IP here.. I wouldnt recommend it) and I dont always have it running..

So, feel free to download it.. play around.. host it on your own PC if you want, its un-noticable (Honestly) on a dial-up connection hosting 5 people, so dont worry about bandwidth issues, and have fun!

Im making a web-page soon for it!

134950 2003-04-11 06:51:00 i like msn, for the main reason that all my mates have it! but i don't like the emotes, bring back the old skool emotes i say!! : )
mIRC is really good too, lots of *diverse* channel's, once you get the hang of it, it's pretty sweet.
ICQ is cool to txt from, its a bit "heavy" for me ole' Daisey tho : P

134953 2003-04-11 13:42:00 I use IcqLite and Msn4.7 with MsgPlus Addon.

Icq works well with PGP8, highly encrypted chatting - excellento!

Don't upgrade to Msn5. Its horrible, banners everywhere and unnecessary advertising buttons that you don't need and can't remove.

MsgPlus is essential however. Contains basically everything you might need for Msn, lots of cool features + also removes banners.

Grab it from:

If you’re talking about msn messenger 5 . 0 .
then is Not True I am running msn messenger 5 . 0 .

It only has one ad at the bottom of msn messenger & MSN today pop up which you can stop popping up by going to tools > options then click on the General tab then deselect [i]"display MSN today when messenger signs in . ” /i]
