| 135368 | 2003-04-13 03:41:00 | They are a great company to deal with as the others have said. However, the cost of importing books and DVDs/cds is such that I only order stuff from them that is totally unavailable in NZ. By the time they get here, you can be paying more for p&p than you pay for the product. If you do buy from them try to buy several things at a time. This tends to reduce the per unit cost of p&p. Few years back I wanted a (hard to find) book from amazon . com, and I was told to buy other stuff as well at the same time so that it reduced costs . I've bought a few DVD's from Amazon . com and they've arrived in a week or so which is good condisering it comes from the United States . One thing you gotta watch - covert the US price to NZ price and see if its worth buying it from an American company . But then, if the particular thing you want to buy is unavailable in NZ, then yeah go for it :) |

| 135370 | 2003-04-14 06:06:00 | I buy nearly all my books from them, and also jazz CDs that are unobtainable in NZ. Jolly good value, especially now with our dollar at a high exchange rate. | Terry Porritt (14) | ||
| 135371 | 2003-04-14 07:48:00 | I haven't used them myself but I can strongly recommend them from the dealings I've seen my stepdad have with them. On the odd occasion that somethign seems to be taking a tad too long to arrive. We've emailed them and they've sent out another one and said that should the original arrive to please donate it to a school or library as the costs to ship it back would not be worth it. Highly recommended. |
