| 135889 | 2003-04-15 04:28:00 | Help!!! I'm new to cdrw drives.I've just bought a externa cd writer. At first I manage to copy music to the cd then after i tried formatting and after formatting the cdrw disc it tells me to insert another disc with sufficient space.I don't understand why.I used direct cd and nero's software INCD to format the cdrw.Quick and full format done but the program keeps telling me that I can't rip anything on because there is not enough room.I'm using nero burning rom and easy creator 4. Whats wrong? Thanks Tammy! |

The problem is that once they are formated they can only hold up to about 550MB data so maybe you're trying to copy to much data to it. What you need to do is use erase the CDRW then it will be back to 650MB. Go into Nero (NOT Nero Express!) then Recorder menu and select 'Erase ReWritable' |
