currently running a GA-7DXE mobo AMD 2000 xp.
i had the fsb set @142 mhz. i began to have trouble with my int adsl modem dropping the line and therefore not being able to connect! i thought it may have been the ten metre extension cord to the phone jack. but..........
i then reset the fsb to 133 mhz and its been workin perfectly ever since (yesterday!)
does this sound right or is it coincidence??
:D

135787 2003-04-14 22:52:00 with a lot of mobo's when you crank up the fsb it also ups the pci (and agp) bus which can cause some cards to freak out a bit. some newer mobo's let you crank up the fsb without changing the pci bus speeds. tweak'e (174)
135788 2003-04-14 23:55:00 take a look at the three stickied threads here:
forums.overclockers.co.nz

the overclocking faq (incomplete) explains why fsb overclocking affects pci/agp speeds in traditional synch systems. This is not a problem in modern async systems like nForce2 based motherboards...
