135734 2003-04-14 10:23:00 My computer is no longer playing any sound. All the drivers seem to be working (the sound card is Nvidia Nforce Audio Processing Unit on the motherboard) and I have tried rolling back the registry to a point where the sound was working but that hasn't fixed it (Im using winXP). I was switching around the speakers earlier today because my usual stereo is being repaired, and I had to use an older stereo, is it possible that this could blow out the sound card? Ive tried swapping to old computer speakers that I know work, even head phones, but its not working... All Ideas Appreciated :) Flamozi (3597)
135735 2003-04-14 10:33:00 I had this too. I deleted the sound card from device manager and it reloaded on start up wotz (335)
135736 2003-04-14 10:33:00 If you have been plugging/unplugging on the sound card itself, have you opened up the unit to check that the sound card has not become slightly unseated in the PCI slot?

Power off first of course.
