| 135665 | 2003-04-14 08:45:00 | I use Excel to build simple databases for myself using auto filters. I decided to catalogue my music collection so as I listen to something I type in the details. So far I have entered 1500 songs. The problem I have is in the first column (called Song Title). When I click on the drop down arrow I only see song titles up to the mid Ts - about 1230 entries. So my questions are: (1) is there a limit to the entries you can see using auto filter and (2) if there is, is there any way around it? Thanks. | sims (3595) | ||

The alternative is to use the Autofilter custom option, where you can fro example list all the songs which start with a particular letter, number or word. Another way is to filter on a second column which might contain, Artists or MusicType. |
