Heya.
I have win2k pro and I connect to a network. But its' really weird because when I turn the computer I on, I like Always have to wait like 2 minutes for the network connection to be made and for the 2 little computer icons to appear in the task bar. What the hell is the delay from and how do I fix it or speed it up? |

Are you running Nortons Internet Security and Antivirus at all? I am and sometimes the network connection doesn't get activated until both those programs have loaded. Guess it makes sure I'm protected before I get connected to the net. |

What about me? It takes me ages at times to map a drive thats ON a Win2K PC - but reboot into 98 on the PC with the shared drive and its a lot faster? |
